August BTS and Markets we Love
Back-to-School Calm Starts at Home
You know that moment in the morning when everyone is trying to get out the door at once? Backpacks tossed, shoes hiding (always just one), lunch kits stacked like Jenga on the counter… It’s basically rush hour, but inside your house.
Here’s the thing: it doesn’t have to be this way.
With the right design—smart storage, better flow, and a few thoughtful details—those same spaces can actually help you through the chaos. Picture this: lunches packed faster because everything you need is in arm’s reach. A front hall where every coat, shoe, and backpack has a place to land. No more “Where’s my ____?!” at 8:05am.
We love showing families how an entryway or kitchen can go from daily traffic jam to calm, organized launch pad. And the payoff? Huge. Smoother mornings. Calmer evenings. A home that feels like it’s working with you instead of against you.
Our clients tell us all the time—it’s not just about how beautiful the space looks (though it will look good). It’s about the peace of mind that comes from knowing the most stressful parts of your day are now the easiest.
So if back-to-school has you dreaming of more order (and a little more calm), let’s talk. Because the right design doesn’t just change your space—it changes how you live in it.

Fresh Finds at the Farmers’ Market
One of our favorite parts of late summer and fall is making the most of Toronto’s farmers’ markets. They’re the perfect way to slow down, support local growers, and bring a little extra inspiration (and freshness) into your kitchen. With markets happening almost every day of the week, there’s always one to fit your schedule.
✨ Here are a few we love in the east end and beyond:
East Lynn Park – Thursdays until Oct 9
Leslieville – Sundays until Oct 26
Withrow Park – Saturdays until Oct 18
Deeply Rooted at Dieppe Park – Sundays until Oct 26
East York Civic Centre – Tuesdays until Oct 28
Evergreen Brick Works – Saturdays year-round
Flemo Farm (Flemingdon Park) – Thursdays until Oct 9
Whether it’s crisp apples, vibrant flowers, or fresh bread, these markets make your weekend errands feel like a treat. We can’t recommend them enough!
